TRADITIONAL CHINESE HEALING
Our Practitioners have a combined 80 years of experience in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.
With expertise in Chi flow, energy centers and meridians, we guarantee a relaxing, refreshing and healing experience.
Shen Dao Acupuncture continues the practices of the So/Tsang/An lineage. Cheng Dan An opened the first acupuncture school to all in China in 1911. He revolutionized its practices. Mr Tsang was his student, carrying with him the knowledge of Treatment of Disease with Acupuncture
Dr. James Tin Yau So, Vol.2, Paradigm Publications, Brookline, Ma, 1987, page 6.
These treatment methods were handed down to Dr. So who with his own knowledge and experience taught us. Barbara and I are proud and grateful to be Dr. So's students, who specialized in treatment of difficult diseases, which he passed along to us. We are now proud to be 21st century practitioners of this tradition.
We have practiced in Western New York for the past 22 years bringing 80 years of experience between us to everyone.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Similar to Massage therapy or Reflexology, Acupuncture draws on ancient knowledge of the Body's natural Energy centers and how they interact. The depth and placement of needles is tailored to the individual's needs to stimulate the flow of energy and return the body to balance.
For those who are new to Acupuncture, treatments can be done on the face, ears and feet to minimize needle distribution for your comfort and convenience.
